What is .ASIA?
.ASIA is the regional web address for Asia. You can use a .ASIA domain to expand your business, cater to Asian audience or start a personal blog and make friends across the region. Do I have to live in Asia to get a .ASIA domain?
Short answer: No. Anyone can register a .Asia domain, even if they do not have a physical address within the region.
Long boring answer: On July 15th, 2017, the .Asia Eligibility Requirements policy was officially updated to allow for easier registrations, especially for entities without a pre-existing regional address or proof of local I.D. The policy update allowed for registrants anywhere around the globe to register a .Asia domain.
What are IDNs?
Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) are web addresses represented in local languages such as “亚洲.Asia” or “こんにちわ.アジア”.
